Job Description
Skills: Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of UNIX, thread programming, server side programming
TCP IP socket programming
Languages: C++, C, object oriented programming
GUI development experience, GTK development experience preferred
Knowledge of ACE framework, XML, FIX protocol is a plus

The Role

Tradebook Futures team is seeking a senior Unix C C++ developer to work on real time Futures trading platform.
The position requires writing C C++ code for distributed multithreaded applications.
Currently the system supports trading on over a dozen Commodities Futures exchanges worldwide.
Exchanges include LIFFE, Eurex, CME and CBOT among others and the list is growing.
The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development and maintenance of a highly scalable server, which can process large volumes of ticks and users, development and maintenance of Front end GUI built in GTK and Company proprietary technologies, for providing complete trading functionality.
