    Title: Data Scientist / Big Data Engineer
    Location: Austin, TX - Onsite
    Interview Mode: MS Teams

    Job Description:   The Data Scientist (Big Data Engineer) role is an expert-level position requiring comprehensive knowledge and a highly specialized skillset in data engineering and analytics. This individual will play a key role in the Fraud Analytics roadmap implementation.
     
    Key Responsibilities:
    Standing up new data engineering practices to support advanced analytics efforts
    Collaborating with data analysts and data scientists to ensure smooth data integration
    Designing scalable data infrastructure and automating data pipelines for high-volume analytics
    Supporting the development of AI tools and automation solutions to enhance fraud detection capabilities
     
    Required Experience:
    Note: Candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements will not be considered for this opportunity.
    10++ years of experience designing, building, and managing efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines to support enterprise data integration
    Proficient in Python and SQL
    Experience with DataBricks on Azure
     
    Preferred Experience:  
    Experience with a Texas or other State agency
    Prior experience working with a Fraud Analytics team
