    Role:infrastructure business system analyst

    location:Roanoke, VA

    project length:6+ months 

    Basic Qualifications :

    This is NOT an applications Business Analyst role. This is on the INFRASTRUCTURE side!

    **MUST HAVE**

    1. Infrastructure Background - Understanding of at least one of the following: server capacity management, asset modernization, network upgrades, LAN, server consolidation

    2. Can write Business Requirements Documents (BRD's) from a template

    3. Build requirements from limited info

    4. GREAT COMMUNICATION

    **Work References Required**

    • • Lead information gathering sessions to understand current and potential customer needs
    • • Understand and translate business needs into business requirements (user stories and acceptance criteria) and associated activities

    Qualifications:

    • • 5+ years of experience in analysis across multiple functional areas. Retail Industry experience preferred
    • • Comfortable interacting with stakeholders at all levels throughout the business. 
    • • Ability to express complex concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing to business partners
    • • Experience using JIRA, SQL, Visio, Powerpoint and Excel 
    • • Ability to work effectively with offsite business or technology partners
    • • Has strong presentation and collaboration skills and can communicate all aspects of the job requirements, including the creation of formal documentation
    • • Independent. Strong critical thinking, decision making, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • • Go-Getter. Possesses strong, planning, execution and multitasking skills and demonstrated ability to reprioritize accordingly. Must be able to manage quickly changing priorities while meeting deadlines
