Position Summary:   The Quality Management Office is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) resource with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience (PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle Financials, etc). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our ERP solutions. Their expertise will be crucial in the successful implementation of projects, ensuring they meet high standards of functionality and usability. This role requires the ability to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT). SAP Ariba experience is a plus.

Accept the responsibilities as a lead of the project.

Involved in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, and test execution

Ability to define test requirements, test complex functionality, and build detailed test scripts

Coordinate user acceptance testing with business stakeholders for projects, as needed

Ability to perform tests under strict deadlines

Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status

Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements, and integrates them into business processes to address the business needs

Documents all issues and assists in their resolution

Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners

Performs quality audits for the project to ensure quality standards, procedures, and methodologies are being followed

Perform various types of testing, including functional, system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing

Perform root cause analysis on critical production defects

Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables

Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design a test coverage plan

Ability to read code and support applications, reports, and processes

Ability to evaluate and report test results

Hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members

Identify potential quality issues per defined processes and escalate to management

Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements

Perform root cause analysis on critical production defects

Collaborate with other testers as needed on cross-functional projects

 

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar, or equivalent work experience.

5++ years of Software testing

SAP Ariba experience is a plus
